I make things for MRI research

At the University of Zurich at the Laboratory for Social and Neural Systems Research (SNS Lab), I was involved in several projects within the research field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) .

During one project (see the photos below), I developed and designed hardware to integrate magnetic field sensors into an 8 channel Philips head coil.

I also explored possibilities for the implementation of personally customized holders to stabilize the human head during long MRI experiments.
The approach circles around 3D scanning, 3D printing and automated 3D data processing. I would like to lose a few more words about this project but, at the moment, a publication is in the pipeline and therefore, things have to be kept under the hood.
